The Ancient Egyptian jobs were very different from now a days
Jobs were very important in ancient Egypt because they had a lot to do. They had jobs such as carpenter, farmer, artist, noblemen, scribe and food maker. Without these jobs and helpers there would be no writing farms and leaders to rule there city. Also now a days we wouldn't have those jobs if the Egyptians weren't so smart

SCRIBE
Scribe was a very important and reliable person because he/she could read and write. They were also very important because the ancient Egypt government has to record lots of legal and business documents and recite which means they needed some one to know how to write and read documents. Another reason they needed a written language is to write down important information. For example letters to the government or codes of some sort. Lastly parents wanted their kids to go to scribal school so they could learn to read and write for there own purposes. It would take four to five years to complete This would allow the children to enter the government of royal services and may become rich and powerful.Usually men were the ones to become a scribe but woman could too.
They would mainly write with reed brushes with ink. They made their ink from crushed minerals that were turned into powder. Than they would mix some sored of liquid to make it easier to write.
The ancient civilization has impacted our current civilization because they created writing and if we didn’t have writing we wouldn’t have different languages because we wouldn’t know how to write. Also there wouldn’t be other ways of communication only talking. So you couldn’t send emails, texts and letters because no one invented it so without the ancient civilization we wouldn’t be able to do all the cool things we do now on paper and technology.

Noblemen
Noblemen were very helpful with the government. They helped run the country with laws and rights. Helped the Pharaoh, scribe, priest, doctors, lawyers or military that needed help. They were the helpers of the leaders that formed and ruled Egypt. If they didn’t have Noblemen in ancient Egypt than the leader would have to work extra hard same with the slaves. With Noblemen there were more people that helped the government out, complete charges, and mail letters, documents and paper work. Also more assignments were being done. Thanks to them we have a whole crew that creates laws and right for our country, allows permits, takes hold of big issues.Without the egyptians right now it would be pretty disasterest in the goverment building if they didn't have helpers and different people in charge of different jobs.

Farming
Egyptians grew everything they ate.
The farmers in ancient Egypt:
Pharaoh had the rich people to farm there field. Most farmers lived in little areas; some farmers lived in towns too with others people that owned a job. Such as carpenter, Egyptians who traded, kids and families.
Crops that the Egyptian farmers would grow:
The most important crop was wheat it made most of there meals. Such as bread, porridge and beer. Grain was the first crop found by a lady who dropped wheat and the next month or week it grew back. Once the grain was harvest they grew vegetables such as onion, leeks, cabbage, beans, cucumbers and lettuce.
Other crops were barley, vegetables, figs, melons, pomegranates and vines. Farmers would also grow fruit trees and vine for shade.
Where farmers grew their crops:
They grew their crops in banks along the Nile River. They would also need fertile soil to grow healthy foods and not rotted.
Season in Ancient Egypt:
The farmer’s split the year into three season based on the conditions.
Akhet (June-September) it was known as the flooding season. All the fields were flooded; instead the farmer would mostly worked for the king. They would build pyramids and temples; sometimes they would make tools and take care of the animals.
Peret (October- February) growing season
Around October the flooding was done and what was left was rich fertile soil, seeded too. So the farmers had an easier job.
Shemu (March-May) harvesting season
The full-grown crops had to be cut down, harvest and removed before the Nile River flooded again.
Farming tools:
Ancient Egypt had pretty simple tools, such as hoes, racks and ploughs. Ploughs were used to turn soil. The majority of the tools they used were made from wood some with wood and stone and a bit with metal, they also found some of there tools but most handmade.
How the farmers watered their plants:
When the flood disappeared there was now more water so the plants would die. So the mud from the Nile River needed lots of water in the hot sun. The ancient Egyptian tried to trap as much flood as they could before it was all gone. To stop the water they made mud bricks, farmers also had irrigation canals to fill with water during the flood
Animals that the Egyptian farmers had:
Animals were very important to the Egyptians because the animals helped them with their jobs like pulling the ploughs, getting dirty in the seeds, eating wheat that the Egyptian didn’t want. They had animals such as cattle, goats, pigs, ducks, cows, and geese.

Artist
The art from the ancient Egyptian have lasted in till today, they are still finding things allover that are from 6,000 years ago. The artwork is mainly found on the walls of different pyramids.
How they made their artwork:
Potters
The people who were the potters made there clay from the rivers
Steps to making a clay pot
First they made the bottom, second they made quite long clay ropes and coiled them to put it in the shape the artist wanted. Third when the coil was done , special desighns and details were used to make it different. A Potter would also scratch a stone on the pot to make it red and softer. They also might comb the pot with a brush to make it indented and unique. Once that is all done they would put it in a kiln or an oven to harden it. Some of the potters made there work out of bronze, gold or copper.

Artist would also paint
Painters had an important job because they had to paint pictures not only pictures, pictures of people. Maybe a picture for the Pharaohs pyramids even. But the hardest part was making the picture look exactly the same. Men and woman had different backgrounds woman would be in a house men would be working outside.
The painters didn’t have all the colors we have now so they used different materials to make their colors.
Here is the colors they used and what they used to make the colors.
Black: Charcoal
White: Powdered limestone
Red: Ochre
Yellow: Iron oxide
Blue: copper
Green: Malachite

THE Carpenter
The carpenters probably had most tools than everyone because they had to make the temples, statues, and homes. It took a lot of effort and time in there day to build and finish everything the government/leader gave them to do
Tools:
Axes
The main tool was the axe it real helped to split big wood and cut them to the right sizes.
Hammers and chisels
It was for if you were doing your job by hand it would give you a good grip.
Mud bricks
They were used to make walls the mud would stick together and they would mold bricks from crushed rock and mud.
Saw
This tool was for shaping wood when it isn’t in the right direction. Saws were one of the first tools to be invented with metal. The Egyptians saw that they made was a difficult tool to manage because t was a pull saw.
The vice
When a chunk of wood can’t be split with a saw they tied it to a pole and stuck it in the ground.
Cane bender
Branches were used back then because they were stronger than some pieces of would that were sawed. But most likely they don’t have the right form the workers would need. The Egyptian wheelwrights, fletcher, formed branches by heating parts of the branch that needed to turn bent or straight with the bark still on to prevent scorching.
Adze
The adze was to plan and carve, it was made with wood the handle is wood. Often formed from a branch cut. Bigger adze was mostly used to take of bark from the branches, small ones were used to do small carvings.
Drill
They were like bows; the strings were rapped around the base. Were a drill would be placed.
Sanding
Sanding was a method to make the wood smooth. They did it by stone.
All of the carpenters had a pretty good knowledge on what they were doing especially wood and their tools they used. They were know to be the hardest workers out of all the jobs.
Without the egyptians that new how to build tall, wide, big buildings we wouldn't know how to build what we live in today.

The ancient Egyptians have impacted our current civilization because they brought many fabulous and creatives jobs, jobs that we would need or else we wouldn't be the same today. Also these jobs brought big impact to the government because they had more jobs witch means more people to help and more laws being said.Without the Ancient Egyptians we wouldn't have these amazing jobs careers and fabulous companies to give us what we needed. Also we wouldn't be able to grow crops and eat yummy and fresh food, grow a constant supply of food. Lastly we wouldn't have this great education to shows us the path to getting a job.
